Midlife Revealed, or No Aluminum Anymore

Well, the car is now mounted on a rotisserie.  One of the unusual things I didn't show on the last page was the fact that the Previous Owner welded the fenders to the lower rocker panel.  As for the reasons?  Who knows!

 

OK.  Now for the side-by-side comparison of what the aluminum patch panels covered.  First, the driver's toe panel

 

The forward portion of the driver's rear wheel well:
